"i spent as much time painting as i did making music while in nebraska
these are mostly pieces that either came to me after i'd been painting for a few days or pieces that led me to do more paintings
i quite liked the symbiotic nature of that relationship between mediums, while it lasted
upon a recent listen to these four pieces, on larger speakers, i realised that the cover art i initially had in mind was insufficient and began to look elsewhere, as i've retired from painting for now
the gorgeous arrangement of colour and texture featured in the artwork here hangs in an office building in cheyenne, wyoming
(i am still attempting to find out who the artist is, as of this writing)
i hope the music found here encourages rest and reflection for you
today is my father's birthday"
